Support
A lot of people supported us in our work in Uganda, and on our exploratory visit to India. By:
- Prayer. Without prayer support, this work will be in vain. With prayer support, God’s work will be done.
- Funds. Without cash support, this work cannot happen. With cash support, God’s work will be done.
Prayer and funds are both essential. There are lots of needs, both in UK as well as Uganda. We have now returned to UK, but others still need your support. If you believe you should be supporting this kind work, then let CMS know. You can:
- Write to: CMS, PO Box 1799, Oxford, OX4 9BN, or
-
Phone: 01865 787 524 , or
-
Email: crt@cms-uk.org
Church Links – these were much slower in coming at the beginning, but became solid. So thanks to you too. Church links are well worth doing, as they reach a different set of folk with an understanding of the global Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Christ. We strongly believe there can be something in it for Link Churches as well as something in it for the people of Uganda.

Dear Bill & Wanda,
Great to see what you are up to on your website! Those Redcliffe days already seem so long ago. we are finally in Pakistan and have a 3rd child- Boaz, but there will definately be no more!
God Bless

I have read your article in CIMA issue of Financial Management. I am an ACMA. I have been running a community service programme near Delhi, India for the last 10 years. This is funded from my personal funds.
I am keen to do short assignments for charities any where in the world
Monica, nice of you to drop a line. It is evident from our recdent visit to India, that finances in NGOs there may have some similarities to that in Uganda, but are on the whole more sophisticated. If you are looking for new placements, a hospital like Kisiizi Hospital might be a possibility, but they’d look for someone from a strong Christian background…. nearer to home, are you in touch with DevPro India (http://devproindia.org/index.htm)? Further afield try ReliefWeb (http://www.reliefweb.int). Being a CIMA insn’t about numbers only, is it. Good luck. Bill Lovett
